The median price of all single family detached homes sold in May 2009 in San Diego was $340,000*, up 1.5% from the April 2009 median price of $335,000 and down 21.5% from the May 2008 median price of $433,000.
The average price of all single family detached homes sold in May 2009 in San Diego was $452,355, up 4% from the April 2009 average price of $434,005 and down 24% from the May 2008 average price of $594,363.
During the month of May 2009 there were 1,786 single family detached homes sold in San Diego County, down 2% from April 2009, when 1,819 single family detached homes were sold. This was an increase of 16% from the May 2008 total of 1,536.
For the month of May 2009 , the average "days on market" for a single family detached home was 71. The April average was 75 days on market.
